3dconnexion firmware version download
In the settings change in each macro from "Keystroke" to "TypeText" Unfortunately, I have a bigger problem. I have the CadMouse cable version and the buttons on Big Sur don't work. The cursor and circle work,but buttons do not work. Is there a plan for the next release and what would be the timing? I tried the beta driver listed here in the forum and when I start up the app and try to rotate the molecular image it starts and then freezes after moving the image a few millimeters.
If anyone has a suggestion I would appreciate it, or do I need to wait for an official release in hopes that fixes the problem? Beta driver is installed. Unfortunately, the SpaceMaus is only recognized as a normal mouse in WirelessMode and in Cable-Mode it works incompletely. Sketchup doesn't even recognize them. We purchased a link to 3DxSoftware 3. When I go to the "about" it gives me the same as listed in the original post and quoted in my reply. When I reopen the control panel it still lists the same versions. I have run the update wizard 3 times each with the same result. I am thinking I should probably uninstall and get a clean copy from the website but then I know I will lose the preferences.

Configurations for your 3Dconnexion device are located in these two places. Location 1 is the filesystem location for the various operating systems and Location 2 is the Windows registry location.
In addition, the problem isn't that the drivers can't support the device it uses the same tech as the current model, just doesn't have a color LCD and has less button. The drivers provide the device data.
Programs with hardcoded support can still use these drivers. That's a lot of money to pay and not get the fully functional drivers! Thank you, but my interest in the driver irregularity started here. Especially since i just finished my portable space pilot mod. Love 3DC. The attention to detail and customer needs from Andrew and the team is top notch! Just uninstall the 3DConnection software you currently have, then run the Windows 8 installer in Compatibility mode as Windows 8. I just want to say that this fix is still working flawlessly for low-budget college guys like me
